Icarus Brewing 4th Anniversary

No big party this year, no fun bands, no huge crowd of friends and beer lovers, no reluctant speech from the boss thanking everyone else for the dream we helped him make...

But I made my annual painting for people to sign and wish us well, so whoever reserves a tasting session in our now 16 max capacity taproom this week will at least have that.

On the positive side we sold all of our online Mega Yacht quadruple ipa in under an hour. (And it tastes amazing) Got to say hi to a bunch of friends who stopped by to pick up their beers.

It’s been a successful year, I guess, not the year we expected to have but we’re still at it. We made bigger, better and all new brews this year. We started operation of an I house canning line (we are still learning how to control it)

I started training to be more than just a cellarman and grain jockey. I’m still years away calling myself a brewer, but the people I work with say I am, and when I stop and enjoy the work we’ve done, it sure tastes better than any beer I ever thought I would make in my lifetime.
