Not so many cars on the road, but it is LA after all, and there is still freeway traffic.
I think the famous smog has been gone for quite some time - like counted in decades. The only time I really see/notice any is during certain kinds of weather - these 'marine layers' can form and kinda sit on the "bowl" of the city like a lid and then the smog builds up under them. But that doesn't happen too often. There is quite a stiff breeze that comes up, usually daily, in the downtown area and blows all the gunk away - but that may be different out in the Valley or other parts of the city.
The thing I am noticing is the lack of urine smell. Fewer homeless folks out and about, and the bars/clubs are closed (so no bros peeing in the street at the weekend). It's kinda nice.

Also, fewer of those fucking scooters everywhere.
