He was kind and playful during this most recent casting session. However around 4 years ago he was an absolute asshole to actors during a session where he had to interact with and direct them.

@rob no worries at all. sorry to hear he was a jerk the previous time you worked with him, but glad to hear it was better this time around. i wonder what the beef is!
@nikkuneko I think he prefers not working with actors. It seemed like he was struggling to articulate what he wanted. I've found that is pretty common with directors who don't work with actors. Sam Bayer (Smells like Teen Spirit vid) is also that way. Maybe more introverted types?
