@ba Casey Kasem voiced Mark, the person in white in the gif above, in the Battle of the Planets cartoon. The robot you are probably thinking of is 7-ZARK-7, voiced by Alan Young. I have seriously considered getting 7ZARK7 as custom license plates for my car.

Gatchaman, the original Japanese version, is really quite different. Much darker, relatively, than the re-cut US version that turned it almost into a Charlie's Angels type 30 minute dramedy.

I’ve got it in the original Japanese. Slower (1970s, after all) and way more violent :)
