What was meaningful about Carter reads as a specific indictment of the incoming trashbag president. I can't imagine that he did not feel attacked by all the decent things articulated in the various eulogies, just by sheer juxtaposition. The only thing that soothes me in these trying times is the idea that that trashbag of a human being understands that he is lesser in absolutely every comparison to anyone else in existence.
