Crazy Clouds, Cows

With a major storm system on the way in, the clouds are shredded aling the edges, the cows are curious as to why I stopped to look at them.
So, I headed out for a drive today. It started out all blue sky, but roiling up and over the Tehachapi Mountains the clouds were a stampede to the South, and the wind was a dust storm before I could get home. In the Shell station off the 5, up in the orchards, I stopped for a tea, to take with me. There, wearing the same colors, was an old woman gingerly walking with a cane, and barely making it over the curb, and up into the store. We were wearing the exact same colors, hers was a long, gray,
calf length, sweater coat, belted at the waist, blowing kinda like a Middle Eastern Robe. She was maybe in her eighties, maybe nineties, tall and thin. I looked to her right at the gas pumps, wondering where she came from, and there is a 1985 VW Campmobile, identical to mine, I knew it had to be hers. I got inside the store, and I smiled and asked her if that were her van, and she said, "Yes," "Well look at this!" I said. She walked with me three feet so she could see in the other lot, my van. She just was delighted and asked if that were an '85? I said that it sure is, and she told me about her drive from an event called BBB buses by the bridge, at Lake Havasu, and that she lives in both Victoria BC, and Southern California. It was like meeting myself in ten years! She was heading toward The Grapevine, and a storm, a true voyager!

with the samie clothes style and van. She is my exact age, born on the same day, the skinny version. We went to high school together, and were friends. It has been a long time since I have seen her, but I thought of her two weeks ago, and looked her up. It would be so like my life if this is so...believe me when I say, no coincidence is too far fetched. Long ago she wanted me to move to Topanga, it was too heady for me, and I had my own pre-paid plan, path, karma, to tend to.
