The embarrassingly high level of incompetence is completely expected. It is a feature of democracy. The lowest intellect paste eaters and bullies figured out they could disrupt class again with the vote and are reveling in their newfound discovery. Tamping them down with rules and consequences eventually will happen. Until the inevitable march to the principal's office, expect spitwads on the blackboard and the toilets to be clogged with toilet paper and games of kickball to be unpleasant.
The whole administration is run by people who have never had real consequences for their stupidity. Unfortunately the finding out phase of their fucking around is going to hurt other people a lot more than it'll hurt them (and again, they do not care).

Remember, they want to break shit. Their mentality is basically "well, there's room for the people *I* care about in my bunker." They do not care the tiniest fraction of an iota about The Economy.
I mean, they have some staff left that haven't been fired? Why not just ask someone to quickly look at the Wikipedia page of each country to double-check people actually live there before releasing the list? Scary shit, but they did want to dismantle government I guess.

They also slapped 10 per cent tariffs on Heard and McDonald Islands, another Australian territory. Both islands close to the Antarctic are uninhabited.
I think the British Indian Ocean Territory also got a tariff. It has no inhabitants. All that is there is a joint UK-US military base, with UK and US personnel on it.
