This is my favourite hat. I bought one many years ago from a shop in London, that had shutters over the windows, and a sort of English version of the gun shop guy from the Simpsons.

Him and his colleague got quite animated when I wanted to buy it. He said something along the lines of 'The cases are lovely, you can lacquer them. And also research the history of the person who wore it'. I said "I'm probably just going to wear it in the bath".
