“ It’s not just the students: Multiple AI platforms now offer tools to leave AI-generated feedback on students’ essays. Which raises the possibility that AIs are now evaluating AI-generated papers, reducing the entire academic exercise to a conversation between two robots — or maybe even just one.”
Apparently AI leaves hidden markers in their output to prove it’s written by AI. This to prevent another AI from teaching themselves on prose written by their brethren. The markers are thinks like double spaces, odd interpunction or using the letter e every 29th character. (Source: my roommate who knows a lot about AI, and she infodumps me about it all the time.)
