First show of my life was My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult in 1990 at the Troc. Pure happiness.

Growing up in the Twin Cities I loved seeing First Ave and 7th St Entry fliers like this. I think on this one I'd have enjoyed the Dinosaur Jr Kyuss split ticket the most. Dead Milkmen a close second.

@poorusher They're so great, although I saw Bunny Brains once (can't remember who they were opening for--Built to Spill or someone, in my memory!) and it was not a fun set.

There's a good chance i saw Melvins, Ween and Dead Milkmen on their tours that year, but in Minneapolis.

@ftrain kind of shocked the only band I've seen live from this poster is PIGFACE, tho I have seen Thrill Kill Kult twice, and man, Groovy Mann's face looks like something Mickey Rourke got haunted by in the dark.

I saw Superchunk last Thursday!

(And Velocity Girl last year. alas, Sarah Shannon's voice didn't hold up.)
