CNN Headline: "Apple removes ICE tracking apps after Trump administration says they threaten officers"

I know it's stupid to think companies will ever 'do better' but, dammit...DO BETTER, APPLE.

I believe when Josh Begley had his Drone+ app censored he had a bunch of other apps pre-approved with innocuous names, and he had some way to feed them the same data, and those eventually got banned too. So it goes.

@0y3ahSansAcut3 Developers have been attempting end-runs around App Store policies many times every day for close to 20 years so it's going to be pretty hard to pull something new on Apple at this point.

@0y3ahSansAcut3 I'm inclined to believe the reasons are pretty straightforward: If Apple and Google didn't do this the current administration would rapidly slap immense import tariffs on their products and take any other disproportionately punitive actions they felt like.
