Little Free Library (my home edition)

My lovely wife has been leaning hard into the things that bring her joy recently with the state of affairs being what they are, and decided to finally get a little free library kit like she’d long wanted. She painted it to match our house paint colors chose the quotes and did the illustrations by hand, and then got the registration kit with the Little Free Library network (http://www.littlefreelibrary.org).

The kit she bought was… not a precision instrument, let’s say, so took some finagling to get things flush/level/secure… and then spot welds on the metal bracket they included to affix the whole shebang to a post broke with just the light tapping I used to get it in place securely so I had to use some JB Weld to re-assemble the bracket before I could get everything in place… but it’s done and looks quite handsome now!

Just have to fill it up with books (and maybe some additional sealing/caulking at the seams just in case). Woohoo!
