Thought some might appreciate this - a post I compose every year for my day job, "Hopeful Images of the Year," where I try to counter the typically strife-and-disaster heavy news photos of the year, a bit. I try to be earnest, and really feature just "personal victories, families and friends at play, expressions of love and compassion, volunteers at work, assistance being given to those in need, and small and pleasant moments."
