Alternate title - The Duality of Man

This is one of the first prints from the new basement darkroom. I had previously printed this at a smaller 5x7 in my parents' bathroom when I went down there in August and used that as a reference for the final 8x10 fiber print. This was taken in February during the Wasabi Bowl - a friend got a couple of tickets from work and invited me for an outdoor drinking outing - and I finally got around to printing it.

This was taken on a Canonet QL17III on Ilford HP5, and overall I really like the optics on this little camera. I wouldn't call the lens especially sharp, but it produces nicely contrasty negatives without the need for filters. Plus, it's small enough to fit in my pocket so it's the film camera I'll carry with me nine times out of ten.
