Snake Plants and Lichen

Had a rough few years getting my mother-in-law to trust that I wasn't a total dipshit, I was the swarthy american..first saw this plant in Costa Rica on vacation with my wife. This spikey beautiful sharp edged pointy plant has another common name - 'mother-in-law's tongue' and I thought it was a perfect name for it at that point.. Regardless, the old battleaxe and I ended up best pals and loved each other dearly.
