I’m dog sitting Jackson for 6 months. He’s actually a cat and licks his paws all the time, especially with the salted sidewalks. He cleans them so thoroughly, with his teeth, that he sometimes makes wounds. Those then need more cleaning and gnawing. And then, sigh, it’s cone time again…

He doesn’t mind wearing it but it feels kinda like a punishment. On this last day of the year I decided to be a true ally and also wear the cone of shame.
