new headshot?
Just my opinion, which is far from expert: I would suggest more even lighting for a headshot. When the photo is reduced to avatar size, the shadows may become more exaggerated, and make the shot appear less "professional." That said, I like this photo of you—you look great.

@brundlefly echoing @ba, on a sunny day the best place to take your photo is in the shade and with your back to a relatively uncomplicated background. So like if you take a selfie with your back to the siding of a house, it'll work a lot better.
Agree. It's a good looking photo of you in general, but if you're trying to say "hire me" and you're not going for a park ranger job I'd try to get the lighting a bit flatter.
