Brass Solidarity and friends

A photo of people gathered to listen to a brass band. The foreground is filled with various folks in winter gear standing on the street. The band is on the sidewalk. Several tuba bells are visible. There are houses in the background. A few bare trees are lit by the police lights from vehicles helping to direct traffic in the area.

I love this city.

I finally found an instance where the MPD was helpful. A cop handed out hand warmers to people in the crowd. Though it was a balmy 33 degrees and I, at least, didn't even have a hat or gloves on as I watched.

It’s encouraging that the local police are at least trying to look helpful

I listened to the interview on the Daily with Chief O'hara today. While some of it was questionable (violent crime rates post 2020), I want to believe he's on our side. At the very least, he understands these goons are putting all cops in the crosshairs.

ICE is so evil even cops know that's the wrong side to be on. That says a lot.
