Every act of care for our communities makes a difference too. Even those not directly impacted. The real point of these assaults on our communities is not to deport undocumented folks, it’s to make _everyone_ afraid and isolated, thus easier to manipulate. Authoritarianism can’t take hold when people support everyone in their communities.

It is really hard. Don't feel bad for sharing the things you think should be shared. Waking up every day is resistance. 💗
ICE was shouted out of my neighborhood Target store when they stopped there to use the bathrooms. Their goons are doing terrible damage to the people in our city, but every small protest, every act of resistance is helping. There are many videos showing a brave person standing up, and a couple of agents whose heart isn't in it.
Our city is full of good people and it gives me strength:
