Thursday Morning Movie 2: Tech and The Alamo
@williwaw, do you me The Conqueror (about Genghis Khan)?
@heyitsal, I like their style guide enough to copy it and put up fake ads in their bathrooms: https://www.ga2so.com/blog...

I have a totally nerdy b) too. That line error may have been intentional. But it was more of a make-the-best-of-it situation…
- They use the same kind of effect in several of the circles in the eye.
- From the bottom, each of those circles rotates 90°.
- Then the next effect resolves to make each of those lines loosen from the exact line spacing to make more of a light or glitter effect.
- So programmatically, it's possible that they needed it to be slightly off... The glitter effect the circle rolls into may have demanded that the circle line not be a closed line. In Adobe animator, you would have needed a guide layer with a circle in it to move each of the lines in the circle on. Adobe Animator can be a dick about the guide feature. Sometimes you have to give in and come up with slightly different solution. There may have had to be a break in the circle to allow for the light effect animation. That would mean the first and last lines would start on the ends of the broken circle.

@dogwelder oh gawd I've not seen that; talkin' bout https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki... which I hate so much.
(My favorite tidbit about John Wayne's The Alamo is that he smoked 80 cigarettes a day working on it, which must have contributed to his death, even if it was from stomach and not lung cancer.)
@heyitsal I love that you spent that time thinking about and figuring it out and I'll remember that next time!!
