My tendency is not to socialize.

But my spouse has encouraged me to engage more than usual.
So, story time:
My wife started her film career with the two guys in the middle (Fred and Jim) on a low-budget horror flick called “Fear No Evil”. They called it Fear No Paycheck. Fred and Jim collaborated around thirty years ago on a documentary about the subway system of Rochester, NY called “The End of the Line”. COVID lockdown inspired them to re-edit their creation with newer digital equipment. Our local art house cinema has three sold out showings this week with more being scheduled for March. Add to this that it was nearly below zero F at the time of the showing tonight. I desperately wanted to be in bed with a book tonight. But this was worth it. Train people geeking out, old friends reconnecting, the joys of discovery and rediscovery all around us.
