what’s up, (sun) dog?

Whenever I see sun dogs, I have a tendency to point them out to ANYONE around me. So when icecrystals abound in the atmosphere, I will be the slightly unhinged person in the park encouraging strangers to stare (almost but not quite directly) at the sun.
