somehow this gigantic, comprehensive anniversary re-release snuck past me.

"will you find me" was a miraculous record then, and it's miraculous now. gentle, sexy, introspective, flowing, sincere: it's a little bit of everything, but in a strangely cohesive way.

my friend dereck played the tracks"shotgun" (https://www.youtube.com/watch...) and "shrug" (https://www.youtube.com/watch...) for me when it came out, and i was immediately sold. the cd frequently lived in my car, on my home stereo, on every ipod i owned. it was woven into the sound of my life for many years: sleepless nights, long drives and grueling commutes.
