Lightning Bolt - The Power of Salad & Milkshakes (2001)

Last night I watched the documentary "Secret Mall Apartment" about the group of artists in Providence, RI that set up a hidden crash pad in an architectural dead space at a giant shopping mall (Netflix; trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch...)
In it they talk a bit about Fort Thunder, the performance space in an old warehouse/factory in Providence that Lightning Bolt drummer Brian Chippendale, who is featured in the doc, started with some friends that was eventually razed by developers.
That led me to looking up old footage from those days and eventually this tour video from 2001.
So, if you watch the Secret Apartment doc and find yourself wanting to dig deeper into the Providence scene around that time, this makes a fitting companion piece. Or if you're just a fan of Lightning Bolt and want to see some old footage, here you go.
