@williwaw I never went to grad school but I really identify with having particular sets of music permanently associated with particular jobs or tasks that will destroy any possible of nostalgia I could've had for the music.

i didn't know about this new release until today either. i was perusing youtube this afternoon and this was at the top of my stuff, even though i hadn't thought about, let alone listened to, gorillaz in years.

(I did all the graphics (in Illustrator) for my dissertation and some of my theses listening solely to a Gorillaz album for each one, over and over again, and to this day can't hear some of their songs without automatically breaking out in the Adobe Sweats (tm). So, it would be nice to listen to a Gorillaz album that doesn't give me *associations*.)
