@BennyTheIcepick - don't be intimidated, it’s not that crazy.
I mean, I did a million steps on these, which was crazy, but the process isn’t too bad. I’m intending to do a write up on it all, but I use Sculpey, molding silicone, resin and metal powder. I sand ‘em and patina them - (with the bronze powder I like the results I got from Modern Masters Blue metal aging solution best, but honestly vinegar and salt might have worked if I had more time to let it set up) then sand and polish the bits I want shiny again. It’s a ton of work if you are trying to get 100 done in a week while trying to do a full time job and take care of your mum, but if you aren’t insane or a terrible procrastinator, it’s kinda fun.
I should at least get a block of wax and just play around with sculpting without the commitment to cast anything.
