▶️ "Vol. II" | Angine de Poitrine
alt text
illustrated artwork for the cover of angine de poitrine's second EP, "vol. ii", depicting the two band members in their polka-dotted costumes and cartoonish masks, playing their instruments (a white polka-dotted double-necked microtonal guitar-bass, a black pokla-dotted drum kit). behind them is a yellow pyramid, which is also seen as a graphic on the guitarist's large four-corner hat and the drummer's tunic
more weird time signatures, more off-kilter grooves, more microtonal freakouts. the first two tracks are absolute bangers and i'm thoroughly excited for another volume from this otherworldly duo.
i normally hate gimmicks, but these two have the chops to make it work. the thematic oddness is generated from the musical ability, not the costumes. seriously, who in the fuck can play a 7/4 groove and run a looper in a getup like that?

i was having trouble using the extension on my home machine last night; the "save this image to MLTSHP" option appeared in the right-click context menu, but did nothing (did not generate the post window). same story with just about any image i could test across the web.
tried the same this morning on my work machine and it works! both are running the latest firefox (148.0), both have the same extension and options (and, in fact, are synced with one another).
anyone have any idea what might have happened to cause one to not work? i'll post to the slack eventually too, but i figured i'd get more eyes here.
