As mentioned a few days ago I'm in the midst of slowly(very slowly atm) rebuilding a home studio. I sold most of my synths but kept my DJ rig and have been re-acquiring some of the stuff I sold. The DJ stuff works the same or better. But throwing an iPad and a TR8-S into that mix, something that was the working center of my rig before, has become an arduous process thanks to the sunsetting of one small MIDI app...

It seems I've been out of the game long enough to lose access to MIDI Link Sync. A simple handshake app that let AUM, Serato and my (former) stack of analog stuff talk to each other unimpeded...

So the last day or two has resulted in me spending a lot of time like above distressed wee one.

Exasperated but not defeated.

I just wanna make digital whale farts and R2-D2 noises.
