@Lockjaw I recall reading that Christian groups appropriate IP with impunity partly because they believe their evangelical mission permits them to / they're entitled enough to not care, and because they can play the oppression card when one of the big media holders does try to slap 'em down.

So lawsuits do happen from time to time but iirc only after multiple attempts at handling the infringers with kid gloves.
