Jackalope
this is the state animal of Wyoming but it makes sense they don't cross the border very often
also frankly that looks less jackalope and more jackamule
I believe they are genetically cousins with the Australian Drop Bears. It goes back to to when the continents of Australia and America were connected on the mega continent Sahul.
Perfect for the #taxiderpy group
no wings, so it's not a wolpertinger.

As I was taking the photograph I was contemplating the source of the name Jackalope, @williwaw, because the majority of them that I've seen are antlered like this one and not horned.
