I watched the Artemis II lift off this morning (our time) and as I am want to do, I started wondering what the toilet fascilities are like inside their ship. Turns out they're pretty good, seperate closable cubicle with a sort of standard looking toilet.

We've come along way from the Apollo version (pictured)

and just in case you were also wondering how the Apollo astronauts did their pees and poops with this bag

I have heard tell that the male astronauts had an option as to what size their roll-on cuff was, getting to pick from S/M/L. As the anecdote goes, no one would opt for small (even those for whom it was the right size) and they wound up renaming the sizes. Maybe apocryphal!

@jessamyn I'd heard that as well and I'm pretty sure it's true. Google says they changed the names to giant, super and large 😁

@otaman absolutely do not recommend putting your todger into a light saber at any time
