dan olson (foldingideas) recently did TWO fantastic episodes about being inexplicably invited to beast studios, using the experience to deconstruct the mess of their media empire. he has a way of keeping me cackling AND thinking critically.

this particular moment comes in the second video, where he's describing the "smart" contestants on the "beast games" game show. so funny that i skipped back to see it again.
