the difference between a baby driver and a baby dinner

Photo of a young man with his hair sticking up, looking consternated and holding a "Baby on board" sign of the sort people stick to their car windows in fruitless hope that bad drivers will suddenly become good drivers for their sake. It is intended to be bilingual but the French reads "Bébé sur tableau". So while Anglophones are told there is a baby in the car, Francophones are told there is a baby on a plank.

Maybe better would be "Bébé à bord" or "Bébé dans l'auto" but my pathetic recollection of a long-ago high school education level in French is not enough for me to know what would be appropriate.
