@homerj my step parents retired to a golf course village in Queensland, lots of units/condos alongside fairways. My step dad loves golfing, he also loves a whinge. I was visiting them one xmas and his whinging aside, he had a neighbour who used to bitch about golfers and golf balls. My old man would stand out on his balcony and basically troll the guy (they couldn't see each other)
"shouldn't have bought here mate giggle giggle"
"how's ya windows mate giggle giggle"
and it would go on, it gave him lots of merriment, then he turned around and the laughter left his face and he looked straight at me
"what a farken dickhead"
Then back to his recliner with the satisfaction of a good days work and thinking up his next whinge, mostly about immigration, he himself being from England - I rarely visit.
