I’m self catering my daughter’s graduation party this weekend. I’m making a a boat load of Empenadas, a chicken tinga and a corn and black bean, I’m making a Greek orzo pasta salad, and a Tuscan bruschetta. I have 90 Empenadas to go

always wanted to try making some at home. would love to know what your dough recipe looks like.

@nikkuneko my true weakness, I suck at dough making. I buy the disks at the market up the street. I have neither the time nor the patience to make the dough from scratch. as much as I hate GOYA, its a cheap alternative

@cottenwess i feel you! it is a massive time suck to do it by hand. good to know there is a ready-made alternative out there!

@nikkuneko This will make 32, and it takes a while. I just did it a month or so ago, but it turned out great!

4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter (unsalted), melted
4 egg yolks
1 cup water
