I was looking for some of those can covers the other day, and two people at the grocery store knew what I was talking about, but didn't think they stocked any. We finally found them in the pet food aisle. Mine have a picture of a very happy doggo embossed on the lid!
@Xedrik I got these ones to go on ceramic yogurt containers, but they seem to work on small cans as well.
It may be that storing food in opened metal cans is meant to be discouraged and that's why they're hard to find in people-food locations, but I guess I just choose to live dangerously. 🥫
