Durable

Bronze sculpture of Barak and Michelle Obama, from the Obama Presidential 'Library' site. I can not find the artist for the sculpture, or if this is even at the Obama site. Of course, everyone is getting huffy about the whole thing, of course they are. (F*heads at NYT.)

This is a fine, 3D portrait of these two. Their grace, and dynamic natures, on full display, the gestural quality of their gait, the hand holding, as a portrait for all time, it is superb. The images were leaked, apparently for hate fuel.
