Wet and moody bicycle riding

Pedaled 165 miles on Saturday and Sunday with my camping gear. It was very rainy and quite cold (45ish F) so fortitude was paramount but I persevered and overall enjoyed myself minus a few shivering low points.

Type 2 fun!

I intended to ride 65ish miles Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (today), @mcmjolnir but after 48 hours of mostly non-stop rain the gravel roads I was following were turning to soup and I opted to bail on my type II fun session last evening. I had an exit route planned but it was 50+ miles of tarmac, still in the rain, and with a soul-sucking headwind, so the type II fun continued right up until 9:30pm last night. A textbook definition of type II this weekend for sure!

Super jealous, these are my absolute favorite condition to backpack/camp/hike in (unless there's lightning)! SO GREEN, too.

A bunch of the adjacent ranges got snow, @williwaw, but just rain for me in the Little Belts. This valley was simply luscious!

My knees are so sore today, @cwhartman! I'm taking Tues and Wed off from the bike.
