I'm supposed to be preparing for a training session I'm leading tomorrow, so instead I'm browsing for photos of setlists by bands I've never heard of on archive.org, and fantasizing about doing some free jazz shows using such setlists as the only prompts.
@ba Pere Ubu would have one track on most of their albums with titles shared by well-known song: "Drinking Wine Spodyody", "Sentimental Journey", "Woolie Bullie", etc.
Dunno why... maybe a way to get into more people's ears (eg, somebody making the wrong choice on a juke box) or maybe they were writing prompts, or just David Thomas taking the piss.
