My grandpa had one of these, then later he had an 80s version that was all tricked out. Kind of spoiled me as a kid for what a 'big serious car' was supposed to be, everything else seemed smaller, lesser. Also, my granparents always had Wintergreen Lifesavers in the car, so this photo smells and tastes like that to me :)
The 67 Suburban came in an “Action-Line” configuration- one door on the driver side, two on the kerb.
This photo makes me think of Tim Powers’ Last Call. I really love that series.
