A large Hairy Woodpecker rests on a feeder. The feeder is a log with holes drilled into it. Each hole is filled with a mix of fat, nuts and mealworms.

The Hairy Woodpeckers have decided my feeder is OK. This was a particularly large one. The Red Bellied have started to visit as well, but never stay long enough for me to get a decent photo.
