RIP 1976 Dates

My late father brought home this bag of dates from a trip to Israel in 1976. It has been in the fridge since then. My entire life they lived in my parents’ fridge. Dad’s been dead more than two years now, and still they stayed in the fridge.
But Mom’s selling the house and one of the last things in her final clean out & pack-up was to take this pic and throw ‘em away.
A great story, and a picture will work just as well as the actual bag to tell it.
