I'm deeply torn between genuinely caring for all the people it would hurt who are already hurting so I don't want it to happen and my strong hate driven desire for Canada to place an export tax on all the energy they send our way in order to hurt the clowns in their shit palace literally standing on their heads right now/near panic *as it is* to keep energy prices low going into the midterms. OTOH maybe some Americans need to learn a thing or two about what our so called "energy independence" and fertilizer imports like potash actually mean. UGH. Maybe just for a week or two before the elections would be a compromise.
