Gloria Steinem and Mad Magazine's Harvey Kurtzman, with publisher James Warren (of "Famous Monsters", "Creepy", and "Vampirella", among others) and the influential art director Harry Chester in the background. Steinem was the assistant editor at Kurtzman's first post-Mad effort, which had big crossovers with America's burgeoning comedy scene (it's where John Cleese met Terry Gilliam, for one) but folded in a few years.
