Damn, session musicians have a lot at stake to walk out of a major gig like that. Not just the loss of income on this job, but they get a rep for being willing to walk out on a job that makes future bookings harder.

okay nevermind. I assumed he had a bunch of American session musicians, but they're Irish, and apparently they're being treated as heroes at home
@ardgedee His backing band Beoga turns out to predate him (they were founded in 2002 and have been collaborating with him since 2016) and be founding members of Irish Artists of Palestine, so… uh, good work, Ed.
