Progress with paint, pt 1

A fiesta red Jazzmaster guitar body is on a table. The guitar has copper shielding, making this even shinier-looking. Where the tremolo should be is a black area. The black looks almost completely flat, and comically in contrast to the guitar itself.

This is a guitar project I'm working on. As part of the process, I decided to paint the tremolo cavity using "the world's blackest paint" version 4.0. Its extreme blackness here makes it look a bit like a portal has opened in my home
