Shout out for the worst bribe ever
alt text
Screenshot from a video taken inside a car on what looks like a highway cloverleaf full of cars. It's night. In the background is a massive smoke and fire cloud streaming from what looks like multiple buildings in what could be an office complex. There's a long line of cars fleeing the fire.
No, this isn't Russia. The Houthis managed to hit Saudi Aramco's FUCKING HEADQUARTERS & corporate offices in Dharan. I'm mainly posting this here because a) I highly doubt it will get any coverage and b) someone risked their lives and freedom to get this video out*. It's sooooo bad the Saudis had to admit that there was "some debris" in the vicinity from an "intercepted missle" LOOOOOOOOLLLL
all those bribes & shit ruined by the inability to resist an attack on an airport
This really isn't funny - it's part of a massive escalation - but it IS just so full of irony.
*Note: the attack has been verified, but whether or not this footage is real hasn't - but it could be, as the Aramco corporate offices have 4 giant hwy coverleafs right by them that take you on/off Aramco Road and that's what this viewpoint looks like. OTOH that's a lot of fire for an office. If verified one way or another I'll update or take it down.
aha, found a place you can watch the video: https://www.reddit.com/r...
UPDATE: "Aramco source to Reuters: the strike on Aramco's Dhahran headquarters damaged the complex's upper three floors and sparked a fire; building oversees onshore/offshore platforms, pipelines, refineries and export terminals." Oh, that's going to make things a little harder to fix when all those things are being bombed.
