What elevates this particular bullshit is the dude's testicular fortitude. He doesn't fake his videos (most of the viral videos were shot from the audience), he fakes the on-stage performance, night after night. And then to ratchet things up a notch he even conducts bass playing clinics, collecting money for in-person demonstrations of his speed playing, miming to a track in front of experienced bassists sitting less than two meters away.
