RIP Rocket.

#RIP

There were a handful of folks that I was very much looking forward to re-connecting with when I returned to MV in 2024, Ray "Rocket" Valliere(under Meryl's arm above) was among them. I had suspected I'd missed my chance and today, sadly, discovered I had.

He passed on in 2025.

If you've ever seen the Farrelly Bros "Stuck on You" then you caught a glimpse of his magic. Ray was a fixture in Edgartown. I saw him almost every day in the summer months. He made waffle cones at the ice cream shop on the harbor and spread joy with his every step.

Rest in Power Ray. You were and always will be one of the good ones.

Everyone loved Rocket.

Goodbye friend.
