Face off! Stage 3:The phono stage!

A vintage electronic board with rows of through mount chips, all arrayed in splendor. The real magic hides somewhere within.

As I discussed with @ardgedee previously, I'm not a fan of replacing caps all willy-nilly, but there are two known problem transistors (H705 and 706) on this board so time to hit them up. Replaced with new and slightly improved models hopefully this will keep the magic rockin'!

Slight edit: I am at home where internet is out, and of course I didn't print out the datasheets... so I installed them 180 degrees off. Great job, me. I have now downloaded all relevant datasheets, have learned valuable lessons about SWAGes, the magic of buying two, and how much faster the second time around is.

@wmo I use a braid and a cheapie hand operated sucker. Less than $10 for the pair off the jungle site. Works good enough fer me.
